Kevin Yuill in Spiked points out that everywhere this law comes in it is inevitably expanded - Spiked 

Yuill, who wrote this piece is, it turns out, is an “atheist, humanist” who has written a book called The Liberal, Humanist Case Against Assisted Suicide - The Christian Institute 

There’s an interesting comparison as well to be made with the death penalty. How is it that libs who are against the death penalty favour euthanasia? Here Yuill is at least consistent as he also makes the case against the death penalty, in another piece for Spiked - Spiked 

I disagree, as does the Bible, as we see in the story of Noah, the death penalty is moral, paradoxically because it does place the highest value on human life, therefore to take it must be punished with the most severe punishment - Bible Hub 

Remember, British people support the death penalty for multiple murder, terrorist murder, child murder - YouGov

The other position of course is to be pro euthanasia and against the death penalty. And guess who holds that view, our old friend Keir Starmer, as we see in this article from the Sun - The Sun
