The Crowning Conservative Crime

The Conservative Party has committed, and continues to commit, a slew of crimes against the people of this nation. They are guilty of acting against the best interests of the country, of making us poorer, of making us into an international laughingstock, of making us less safe. The Conservative parliamentary party ousted a duly elected leader, only to reject the person chosen by their membership to replace him, and installed a third person who now not only lacks a mandate from the people but does not even enjoy the support of the rank and file of his party. That he has failed to go back to the populace to seek a legitimate mandate is to spit in the face of democracy itself; to make a mockery of our entire system of government.
