MPs Dare to Wage War On Woke
"What's the point of having a huge majority", if Tories can't say no to 'unconscious bias training'? asks ConservativeHome editor Charlotte Gill.
"Conservatives voted for Boris Johnson under the assumption that his party would stand up to cancel culture, wokeness and all things far-Left", explains Gill, yet the House of Commons is reportedly piloting 'unconscious bias training' for MPs.
"Are we okay with our MPs undertaking this?" she asks, more importantly, "what does this say if they are happy to go along with it?"
Well, it seems like many Tory MPs are not. Mansfield MP Ben Bradley hit the headlines when he openly declared he will refuse to undertake the controversial training. Questioning its effectiveness and raising concerns over the unjustified cost to tax payers, Bradley called on his colleagues to follow his lead and "take the same stand". Over 50 like-minded MPs did just that.
