How to Build a Successful Non-Left-Wing Movement
Silver Members - Listen to Audio Version
The Left and the Right are not symmetrical forces in our political systems. As I have explained elsewhere, the two ‘wings’ do not represent just two extremes between which an imaginary pendulum swings as societal moods change. In reality, the left wing is the perpetual party of progress or change, while the right wing is simply the perpetual regulator and pacesetter of the plans proposed by the Left. Neither of them do (or even can) switch to the role of the other while in office at some kind of official political posts. The roles are fixed and pretty much immovable.
